JEC World is not just another trade show. If you work in composites, it’s where everyone who matters shows up: manufacturers, researchers, integrators, customers. Our CEO, Blanca Garro, put it plainly in her interview with JEC Composites: “If you want to be known in the composites sector, for sure you must be at JEC. The people you can meet here, you cannot meet them in any other place in the world.”

This edition was a busy one for Reinforce3D. We presented advances in our CFIP technology, Continuous Fiber Injection Process, and had real conversations about what the DELTA Modular system makes possible with an audience that actually understands what’s at stake.

The challenge CFIP addresses is not new, but it is genuinely hard: how do you integrate continuous fiber into complex geometries without breaking the manufacturing process? Reinforce3D’s answer has been to build technology that makes that integration reproducible, controllable, and scalable, not just in the lab, but on the shop floor.

At JEC, we talked through where the technology stands today and why the DELTA system’s modular architecture changes what’s actually achievable in production.

Drones and UAVs: why now

One of the most talked-about application areas at the show was drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. That’s not a coincidence. The requirements these systems impose, minimum weight, structural stiffness, vibration tolerance, are exactly where continuous fiber separates itself from conventional materials and short fiber alternatives.

As the UAV sector matures and certification requirements get stricter, the ability to produce structural parts with precise, repeatable mechanical properties stops being a nice-to-have. It becomes the requirement. That’s where some of our most interesting conversations are happening right now.
