Reinforce3D is a start-up aimed to further develop and commercialize the Continuous Fiber Injection Process (CFIP) Technology. It was funded in 2022 by BeAble Innvierte Kets Fund (BIKF), Eurecat and Marc Crescenti.

BIKF, which is managed by BeAble Capital, is the most important Spanish Science Equity Fund specialised on transferring industrial technologies coming from Deep Science into market, with experienced staff involved in the monitoring of technology, business, IP, financial and strategy of the company. BKIF invest in Seed and Early Stage companies in the Industrial High Technology sector with the goal of transferring to society the technologies born in Spanish academic and research institutions and of providing support for transforming breakthrough discoveries into products through the creation of start-ups.

Eurecat

Eurecat is the main research and technology organization of Catalonia. It is composed of a multidisciplinary team of scientists and technologists working in more than 160 market-oriented R&D projects, aimed at the acquisition and of new knowledge for being transferred to specific applications and solutions that meet the industry and market needs. Eurecat’s activity addresses all sectors, but especially to seven main strategic areas: Food, Energy and Resources, Industrial Systems, Design-based Industries, Sustainable Mobility, Industrial Health and Cultural Industries. Eurecat has been developing the CFIP Technology from scratch to its spin-off as Reinforce3D, being in charge of its technology development, business development, IP strategy and communication activities.

Marc Crescenti, CTO & Co-Founder

Marc Crescenti was leading the development of the CFIP Technology at Eurecat, and now is the CTO of Reinforce3D. He holds an industrial engineering degree specialized in a mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, and a master’s degree on design and simulation of composite structures at AMADE (University of Girona). He has deep expertise in the two fields that the CFIP Technology involves: composite materials and AM. His technical expertise is focused on structural design and optimization by implementing methods such as the FEM, topology optimization or generative design. Besides the technical field, he also has wide expertise on business development, IP strategy and team management.

Blanca Garro, CEO

Blanca Garro, the CEO of Reinforce3D, assumed her role in early 2023. She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the Technical University of Zaragoza and Munich (TUM) and an MBA from the ESIC Business and Marketing School. Blanca brings extensive experience in the 3D printing field, having worked as a business consultant and project manager in additive manufacturing and digital transformation. She has previously worked with prominent European companies such as Materialise and Schneider Electric. Leading Reinforce3D, Blanca aims to revolutionize additive manufacturing by spearheading the development and commercialization of the company’s patented Continuous Fibre Injection Process (CFIP) technology.

Marc Roselló, Head of Automation

Marc Roselló holds an industrial engineering degree specialized in industrial electronics and automatic control engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, and a master’s degree on business and administration specialized in industrial and technical management at the IQS Executive. All his career has been focused on design and implementing automatic machines and production lines for different markets. He has been part and managed international teams that worked for sites around the world.

Industrial engineer expert in Digital Transformation, Facility Management, and Maintenance. Member of the Board of Directors of ISA Spain (International Society of Automation) and the Connected Industry Group. President of the reference association for FM in Catalonia (ACFM – Catalan Facility Management Association) and a member of the Executive Committee of AEM (Spanish Maintenance Association). Currently working at Schneider Electric as an Innovation and Digital Transformation Cluster leader in the Cluster South & East Europe and North East Africa, within the Process Automation business domain.
