Reinforce3D debuts CFIP in Italy with Spring SRL at Fiera A&T Vicenza

From October 28 to 30, Vicenza became a key stop in the European expansion of structural fiber reinforcement.

For the first time in Italy, Reinforce3D’s patented Continuous Fiber Injection Process (CFIP) was showcased live, thanks to the collaboration with our partner Spring SRL, experts in additive manufacturing, prototyping, and engineering services. The setting: Fiera A&T, one of Italy’s main industrial technology fairs.

And behind the scenes, our CTO and Co-founder, Marc Crescenti, joined Spring’s team on the ground to support a growing wave of interest in functional, lightweight, and scalable composite reinforcement.

A long journey until we arrive here

Italy has long been a global player in sectors where mechanical performance and design complexity go hand in hand: automotive, motorsport, tooling, aerospace, robotics. But while additive manufacturing is increasingly present in these industries, the path from prototype to structural part is still a challenge. That’s precisely the gap that CFIP helps close.

CFIP allows engineers to inject continuous fibers directly inside printed or molded parts, without using molds, adhesives, or surface layups. It’s lightweight, directional reinforcement from within, following real load paths, designed for additive and hybrid production.

For Italian manufacturers, this means they can:

  • Reinforce parts internally without redesigning for composite layups
  • Avoid the costs and complexity of traditional composite tooling
  • Build stronger, lighter parts, adapted to aggressive mechanical demands
  • Maintain flexibility, no mold, no batch size limits, no manual assembly

This debut wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and collaboration of Spring SRL, whose team brought our DELTA system to the show floor and helped communicate the value of CFIP to visitors, engineers and decision-makers.

Spring’s experience in functional additive manufacturing and their focus on real industrial applications make them an ideal partner to bring CFIP to the Italian market. Together, we’re creating new opportunities for local companies to move beyond prototyping and into scalable, structural reinforcement.

A milestone in our growth — and just the beginning

This first public appearance of CFIP and the DELTA system in Italy is more than a product launch, it’s a signal. A sign that reinforcement is evolving, and that Italian industry is ready to adopt smarter, cleaner, more flexible alternatives to traditional composites.

For Reinforce3D, this event marks a clear step forward in our international roadmap, opening doors to new collaborations, case studies, and local pilot projects.

Thank you to the Spring SRL team for their energy, expertise and belief in the potential of CFIP. We’re proud to be growing this ecosystem together.
