Reinforce3D has been in Las Vegas! From September 1 to 3, our team took part in Commercial UAV Expo, one of the key events in the drone industry, where we showed what continuous fiber reinforcement can bring to unmanned aerial vehicles.

Our Application Engineer, Clément Badon, represented Reinforce3D at the event, joining the booth #333 of our partner Impac Systems Engineering. Being present at a show of this scale, side by side with a partner that knows the US market, gave us a direct line to the people shaping the future of commercial drones.

Carbon fiber, CFIP and UAV applications

Weight, stiffness and strength are decisive factors in drone design, and this is exactly where our technology comes in. Reinforce3D develops CFIP (Continuous Fiber Injection Process), a patented technology that reinforces parts with continuous carbon fiber injected through internal channels.

At booth #333, we showcased carbon fiber frames and examples of continuous fiber reinforcement. These sparked plenty of conversations with visitors about what CFIP can offer UAV applications, from the design possibilities it opens up to the mechanical performance it can deliver.

None of this would have been possible without Impac Systems Engineering. Thank you for hosting us, for your support, and for making our presence in Las Vegas a reality.

What’s next for Reinforce3D

Commercial UAV Expo confirmed that interest in lightweight, high-performance solutions is growing across the drone industry. We are taking home new contacts, valuable feedback and fresh ideas to keep developing CFIP for aerial applications. Until next time, Las Vegas! 🎰
